ABOUT ANN
Abiquiu Realty, Ltd. was founded by Qualifying Broker, Ann McDaniel in 1991 to serve the needs of residents of Northern New Mexico and those who wish to be residents of this very special area of the world. Her particular brand of ‘touring the north’ is legendary among those who have purchased and sold property with her assistance over the years.

When she began her career in real estate in 1986, she knew she had found her niche. Having come to New Mexico in 1974, she has accumulated 39 years of knowledge and expertise of land in the north, which make her uniquely qualified to meet the needs of her clients, both buyers and sellers. A distinctive warmth that Ann brings to her business relationships has caused her clients, customers and associates to become great friends with her over the years.

Ann raised her four children, Tim, Chris, Joey and Katie in Northern New Mexico. They are all now grown. Son Tim and his wife, Nadine, have given ‘Granny Annie’ two brilliant and beautiful grandchildren, Diego and Alia, in whom she will likely instill her love of the land.

ABOUT MILES

Miles Fairris fell in love with New Mexico on a brief trip the area in 1972. On a later trip, when he saw the expanse of the wild side of Abiquiu and viewed the Piedra Lumbre, he vowed to one day make this spectacular place his home. Miles has always had a passion for the areas where you could see ‘yesterday and tomorrow at the same time.’ He felt that in Northern New Mexico. When Miles and Martha, his wife of 26 years, finally arrived, they found a perfect fit with Ann McDaniel of Abiquiu Realty, ltd.

Miles and Martha made a commitment to New Mexico in 2001. He brought with him 35 years of commercial and residential construction business experience in Ft. Worth, Texas. His educational experience includes a BS in Architecture and Interior Design, which, when joined with his business acumen provided the tools to build a successful construction management firm. His clients appreciated his ‘hands on’ approach to all his projects as he worked closely with his them to achieve their goals.

His business experience and expertise helped him to develop the unique skills that allow him to deal effectively with a broad range of people and projects. He enjoys the one-on-one of dealing with clients and helping them to fulfill their dreams. He knows how to ask the right questions and listen for the hidden answers that can help him to guide them in the right direction.

Miles’ other interests are many and varied, including gourmet cooking, hiking, skiing, rafting and/or “traveling down any road.” Miles’ other best friend is his Basset Hound, Boss.
